Owning a salon has always been a goal of mine because of growing up in an entrepreneurial family.
My husband and I met working at the same salon, and luckily he had the same goal of being a salon owner. We had the opportunity arise in December of 2019 (yes, right before Covid) and have grown an amazing group of talented artists and clientele.
(Most IBE artists in Calgary that are certified work by themselves in a salon suite setting. I believe that’s a big part of what sets me apart by being in a salon setting and having more than 1 IBE stylist. It gives clients a lot more flexibility/options for appointments and also different pricing options.)
